I saw this gingerbread online too and loved it. Not wanting to drop $80 on it, we decided to make our own. We had loads of fun. Unfortunately, our mid-century modern homes ended up looking like mid-century trailer homes!

I want to try one next year. I'd better start thinking about how exactly I'm going to make it right now. You always forget what a pain it is to make a gingerbread house entirely from scratch until you're elbow-deep in royal icing and misshapen walls.
That is a super cool ginger bread house. I came across your blog from Whitney's blog. So I have been lurking on your blog for awhile. A few years back when we were looking for a house we too looked at that house that is on the hill above the stadium. We did end up with a MCM house in Bountiful. So like the other post, did you ever get into a new house?
