Children:: Pint-sized Retro Kitchen
I just about died when I saw this adorable 50s play kitchen at my local Costco. I think they were asking about $130. We don't have the space, or the kids who would be that into a play kitchen. If you do, how adorable would this look tucked into a corner?

Ha, ha. I saw that kitchen at Costco today and thought of your blog. Of course, you don't know that I'm so interesting in your love of Mid-Century Modern.
i saw that and pointed it out to the person i was there with last weekend, too.
I tried to talk my almost-9-year-old into it and she wasn't biting. My four-year-old son doesn't think it's all that either. Maybe I should buy it for myself for Christmas. I LOVE IT.
By the way, you're the world's best commenter.
Thanks Malisa! I love that you are interested in what I love, or something like that.
Liam, it's almost worth picking for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Maybe you don't have to do a kitchen remodel, just get this and stick it in the corner.
Petit, what do kids know? Nothing!
We don't even have kids yet, but I was so tempted to buy it. My mom saw it too and I'm hoping she will pony up so her future grandkids can have it.
My sister, who has no children, but who is the favorite aunt, wants to buy this for her future playroom-under-the-stairs. I heartily seconded the motion. I hope it happens before they are all gone.
I detest the other play kitchens I've seen, but this one...(sigh)
'nuff said.
I saw it at costco and thought of those old fashioned popcorn machines. I would buy an old fashioned popcorn machine for my kids.
I actually would buy the kitchen, too, but those pots and pans look nicer than mine, and I would hate to covet.
Yes! Now I am totally cool because I do have that kitchen tucked away in our food storage room waiting for Santa to bring it out. If you haven't figured it out I am always looking for your stamp of approval because you are cool.
Is it wrong that I totally have decided my unborn child on the other side of the globe needs this? yes, it is. But fun!
I LOVE this- I haven't been to Costco in MONTHS. I showed Henry. He said, "let's go get that right now" He loves to pretend bake. I wonder if my costco has this.
If not, then you should have me or your mom pick it up--it's on sale for $99.
I want this! Which Costco is it at? (i'm closest to the Sandy Costco0
I just saw the same one in our California Costco. No room here either.

I've seen it at several Costcos.
They have great customer service, so I bet if you called their service desk before driving down they will let you know if they have it.
Our wee ones got this for Christmas and it is super cute, but just a word of warning...it took 4 hours to assemble....Santa was up late:)
Thanks for the warning!
Way adorable! Thanks a lot... another item for me to save for ;o)
this is amazing!
I love it!
I saw it, too, and agree--ADORABLE!
I have this and found it online (new) for 75 bucks. But the shipping was a lot- I don't really remember. It took m y five (!) hours with my toddler helping me to put this together. I'm not going to lie; I cursed like a sailor.

They have excellent client support, so I bet if you known as their assistance table before generating down they will let you know if they have it.
